1979, dryga tio år efter att garagerockande Monks (US) härjade som värst, släpper punkrockande Monks (UK) "Bad habits" och får en hit med "Nice legs shame about the face". Inte speciellt politiskt korrekt punkrock med skönt gubbsväng.

Sågaren John Ford (ex-Strawbs) berättar om bakgrunden till texten:
"We forgot all about Nice Legs… It was a bit of a problem when it was a hit. It was my first wife's saying. I'd drive around and be wearing dark glasses, and she would say that if she thought I was eyeing up a woman."
